some might say

its RANT time.....
mark starting venting about the leafs to me tonight, about how they suck at scouting and that they buy high priced 'vets' that do nothing, and they'll never win a cup if they continue like this... and that started bugging me.
the other day i checked tony's (yes the evil tony) site to see what he had to say about new jersey losing. so he goes on about how he feels he's the luckiest fan ever that he has had the chance to see his team win 3 stanley cups. now don't get me wrong, i think its great when people get behind a team and support them, and of course its great if they win the stanley cup or whatever championship they are after but after reading his little post, i got pissed off. maybe i'm bitter cuz toronto apparently "sucks", but i mean after reading that i was thinking to myself.. what the fuck?... were you on the ice yourself? like come on... how much does your life really change by having your favourite sports team win? i don't think that mine would change in anyway. maybe i'm just a shitty fan. now back to mark... all he's done is complain about the leafs and how they "suck" but how he still likes them as much as the next guy. no offence mark.. but shuttup... i don't wanna hear it. either love em or hate em, make up your mind. why does the word "bandwagon" come to mind?

look... i watch sports because its fun. my life doesn't change because of a win or loss. sure its great when your team wins but does it really matter? yippy! your team just won the stanley cup!! what did you do? sat on your fat ass and ate chicken wings and drank beer. i think some people need a reality check.
"I know exactly where I was sitting when the Devils won it in 95,00 and 03 and those are memories that will last forever too." wow thats great, how about remembering something actually important....
"no...but im kinda peeved that everybody loves to chant go leafs go and support a club that is going absolutely nowhere in it's current state" so what.... go cheer for a team that will win then...

ah well, guess i'm just not a good hardcore fan like these people...
... and if the leafs lose tomorrow, guess what? my life will go on unchanged
