well had a great time last night. went to go see sam roberts with immanuel and his friend joanna. turns out joanna went to pope and took french so she knows all the people that i went to st martins with. so anyways about the show, it was one of the best performances i've seen. the openers gusto were good. the drummer played the whole time with just his hands, no sticks. it was pretty crazy. then sam roberts came out and played. i can't remember how long the set was but they played quite a few songs, getting the crowd involved too. after finishing they quickly returned for a 4 song encore set, where the last two songs must of been 15-20 mins each, they just kept on jamming. it was pretty cool. after finishing, he jumped down to the fence and hugged some fans and then headed off stage. joanna said she spotted him crying as he left. he seemed very honoured at the fact that everyone was so into the concert and kept on praising toronto. anyways gotta work at 11 and i haven't had breakfast.
